Cliffs of Moher

One of Europe's outstanding coastal features, where the giant rugged coastline rises to nearly 700feet of sheer cliff above the atlantic ocean.

O' Brien's tower, which was constructed in the early 19th century as a viewing point for Victorian tourists, is the located on Moher's highest cliff.

From its exceptional vantage position you can view the Clare coastline, the Aran islands and mountains as far apart as Kerry and Connemara.

Buratty Castle

The castle, built in 1425, has been authentically restored to its former medieval splendour and houses an array of medieval treasures.

Within the grounds is Bunratty folk park, where Irish village life at the turn of the century is beautifully recreated.

The Burren

A geographical anomaly of alpine landscapes and vegetation, the Burren is a lunar-shaped limestone plateau famous for its wild flowers and abundance of antiquities dating from the prehistoric to medieval times .

This area is popular with both tourists and those interested in outdoor activities such as caving, potholing and hill walking.
